Educate America Right Now (EARN) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit encouraging academic excellence in adults returning to school for their first college degree. We provide merit-based financial and motivational support to hardworking adult students. We currently serve Westchester, NY and are expanding into Suffolk County on Long Island, NY.

The American workforce needs to become more educated in order to be competitive. Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce predicted that by 2020 up to 64% of jobs in the United States would require successful candidates to have earned at least an associate’s degree . Therefore, one of our greatest undeveloped assets is the large group of adults returning to college to complete their first degree. These folks want the chance to better their own lives and the lives of their families. Non-traditional learners often make outstanding hires because they bring a rich array of life experience into the workplace. However, adults returning to school also face unique financial and family challenges and responsibilities. Because of this, a large number fail to complete their first degree. Through your generous support, EARN brings these students the help that they need to become ambitious, high achieving college graduates!

EARN provides a multi-tiered solution to help hardworking adults graduate with the high grades and quality work ethic that all of the best employers want. We provide an academic merit-based grant model combined with enthusiastic academic support and a group forum, each geared to the unique challenges faced by adult students returning to school.
