She helped start their inclusion science program, and has personally instructed the majority of courses and grades offered by her department. Her extensive work with special needs students has brought her great joy and an appreciation for the difficulties that some must overcome to earn an education. Alex York

Alex York
Treasurer
Alex works in the electrical transmission energy sector specializing in underground cable accessories and is currently pursuing his Electrical Engineering degree. He originally graduated with a degree in liberal arts which is not in alignment with his current professional goals. As a result of this he has become a strong believer in adult higher education that is targeted, self-motivated, and professionally driven. Alex has served on other NYS not for profit boards in a variety of capacities and is looking forward to continuing his work with EARN, as he believes that access to meaningful education profoundly enriches and provides opportunities for individuals and their families.
