EARN’s Board of Directors brings a wealth of life experience in education, teaching, school administration, service, and entrepreneurship. They understand the challenges adult students face.
David M. Keith
David M. Keith retired as Director of an internationally recognized, college-accredited, public high school science research program at Byram Hills School District in Westchester, NY. He has served as a Chair of science in the Great Neck School District on Long Island, NY, and has 27 years of teaching experience. David holds degrees in psychology and science education, and is New York State certified in Physics, Earth Science, and Public School Administration. He has training in leadership and in the creation of interpersonal community, and is currently creating a new student-centered science research program in Manhattan. David meditates, is an avid west coast swing dancer and runner, and is enjoying restoring a 1973 Camaro.
Jess L. York
Jess is a science department chair for the Great Neck Union Free School District, a lighthouse public school district on Long Island, NY. She helped start their inclusion science program, and has personally instructed the majority of courses and grades offered by her department. Her extensive work with special needs students has brought her great joy and an appreciation for the difficulties that some must overcome to earn an education. Jess has also served as chair of the Board of Directors at the Shalom Mountain Retreat Center in Livingston Manner, NY. Jess believes that her involvement with EARN is broadening and enriching her work with those who strive to better themselves through education. Her strong belief in personal responsibility is very much in alignment with the philosophy of EARN.
As a retired entrepreneur, Richard has served as an Organizational Sponsor representative of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), a member of the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (US SIF), a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), and a member of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI). He has also served on the Board of Directors of the North American Energy Standards Board, and has testified as an expert energy industry witness before numerous state, federal and provincial regulatory agencies, as well as in bankruptcy and civil court. Richard is an active member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) AND presently serves as Treasurer, Board member and Executive Committee member at the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Suffolk NY, where he has been active in the Marine and environmental programs. Richard lives on Long Island with his wife, Wendy, where they can often be found strolling the North Shore beaches with their dogs.
Christina B. Wyman
Tina brings to EARN extensive experience from the public sector as a senior manager and team leader in pharmacovigilance and drug safety. Tina is passionate about promoting patient advocacy, and believes that education sets the foundation for self-reliance and personal responsibility. She is excited to be a part of EARN’s Board of Directors, where she brings her boundless enthusiasm and support for folks who are committed to improving their own lives. In her spare time, Tina enjoys meditating and running, and can be found enthusiastically cheering on her daughter at basketball and soccer games.
